Beautiful box

This is a box I made. I am so proud of this one. I think I really like making boxes.

Tea bag folds

These are the tea bag fold cards I tried. The out come was beautiful but the did take me time. I guess I have to pratice more to get good at them.

Late again

Ok, so I haven't been very good about keeping up with this blog. Every day I look at the page and think ok today will be the day I put in an entry. The day passes and still I haven't written anything.

Over the week-end a friends grandmother passed away and this is the card that I made for them. Inside the card I found a stamp from stampin up and used it. I reads SO VERY SORRY. That this the only sympathy words I could find. I had all the kids sign the card and will mail it out today.

Last week a purchased the Provo Yourstory for $26 on Ebay. It is due to be delivered today and I am so excited. I also found on HSN they have a kit of 6 binders for the Yourstory at a small charge. I don't remember right now, but seems like $30. Now I can create my own books, and laminate what ever I want.

The two following pictures are post-it notebooks that I made. I guess you really could call them covers instead of notebooks. I am still learning how to take good pictures, so please hang in there with me until I figure this all out.

I am going to try to do better about blogging

I have looked at so many of these blogs and I am so jealous about what they are showing everyone. I want to join in on the fun and I am going to try to do the same. I create things and never show them off. If I don't get over the shyness I will never get my work shown.

For the last 3 days I have been making a box for my sister to store her scissors and glue stick in and she was happy with it. I forgot to take a picture of it before I gave it to her so I can not show off that project. Prior to that one I made tags to hang from water bottles. They are so cute. I will include a picture of it on today blog.

I have also learned that if you take saran wrap and cover you card or project and heat it that will make the perfect seal. There is one thing you have to remember, don't get the saran wrap extra hot. Keep moving the heat gun around. I have melted a few sheets of the stuff.

Busy, Busy, Busy

I have been so busy, after the summer I have finally gotten the kids in school and have been trying to get back to my card making. Everyday it seems to end before I have gotten started. I have some new cards that I will share, each time I make a card they get better. Right now I am working on Christmas cards and have nothing to so. Still trying to but them together. Any way here are some of the other cards. Let me know what you think.

I will try to enter more often and show more of my cards. Come back soon.
